Our Staff
The Management Alliance, Inc. boasts
a staff of experienced, talented and resourceful association
professionals. We have experts on staff in membership
recruitment and retention, financial management, events and the
general administration of associations and foundations. As our
name suggests, we are allied with professionals in the areas of
government relations, technology and communications to ensure
that our clients get the best quality service.
As association professionals, we
believe in practicing what we preach. We are actively involved
in the American Society of Association Executives, the Greater

and are recognized as leaders in our field.
Here are brief bios on some of our
key staff members. |

Ronald Sohn,
President
Ronald Sohn founded The
Management Alliance in 1994 after serving as the
executive director of the Shoe Service Institute of
America, Associated Roofing Contractors of Maryland, the
National Neighborhood Office Agents Club, TempNet and
the National Association of State Farm Agents, Inc. with
another association management firm. Ron brings 18 years
of association experience to his clients as well as a
diverse background in business and finance. He is a
member of the American Society of Association Executives
and the Greater Washington Society of Association
Executives and currently serves on the board of
directors of the Maryland Society of Association
Executives. |

Claudia Clemons,
Executive Vice President
Claudia Clemons currently
serves as executive vice president of The Management
Alliance, Inc. and as executive director of three of its
client organizations. Claudia has worked for more than
20 years in association management and has experience
with dozens of associations. Claudia is a member of ASAE,
GWSAE and MSAE. |

Dawn Lipsey,
Senior Account Executive
Dawn Lipsey is an account
executive with The Management Alliance, Inc., currently
serving as executive director of the International
Association of Special Investigation Units. She has 14
years of association experience, working with the
Homebuilders Association of Maryland and another
association management firm before joining The
Management Alliance, Inc. in 1996. Dawn has a Bachelor
of Science Degree in Business from the University of
Baltimore and is a member of the American Society of
Association Executives and the Maryland Society of
Association Executives. |

Britt
Wittelsberger, Account Executive
Britt Wittelsberger is an
account executive with The Management Alliance, Inc.,
serving as the associate executive director for the
Maryland Veterinary Medical Association. Britt’s
previous experience includes event management and public
relations. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Mass
Communications from Towson University and is a member of
the Maryland Society of Association Executives. |

Debbie Dacre,
Financial Manager
Debbie Dacre is the
financial manager for The Management Alliance, Inc.
where she oversees everything from accounts payable to
investment strategies for all of our clients.
Debbie has worked in financial management for 30 years
and has specialized in associations for the past 12. |

Colleen Wagner,
Financial Assistant
Colleen Wagner works in the
The Management Alliance, Inc.'s financial department
where she handles all accounts receivable. She has an AA
degree in accounting and has worked in the financial
field for 34 years. Colleen has worked in the government
sector, small business field, public accounting,
insurance industry and, for the past four years, in
association management. |
